Northwest Crossing in Bend
4/4/13 update–The developer has decided not to move forward with his plan for the storage facility, much to the delight of NWX denizens!!
Northwest Crossing (NWX) , on Bend’s westside, seems to have weathered the difficult years of real estate better than any other community in Bend Oregon. Northwest Crossing continued to sell houses when other neighborhoods faltered. In fact, Northwest Crossing claimed 2012 as its best year ever
with the sale of 127 units (with median prices ranging from $295,000 to $435,000, depending on the month). That’s pretty impressive!

A meeting with more than 100 attendees gave Northwest Crossing habitues an opportunity to air their concerns about the 4.2 acre facility planned by developer, Jeff Payne:
What will happen next?
Will they shoot themselves in the foot? I don’t think so . . . Northwest Crossing is a wonderful place to live!
